Clovers CODE (Creating Opportunities Designed for Everyone), is part of Apple’s Community Education Initiative, which is focused on creating community pilots across the U.S. to build knowledge and skills of coding across the Pre-K through workforce pipeline by collaborating with community partners. Apple works to both provide this education to kids as well as developing the knowledge of educators in teaching coding through Apple’s Everyone Can Code and Everyone Can Create curricula. Topics include coding, app design, photography, music, art, and video creation.

Clovers CODE began in Franklin County in 2020. Ohio State University 4-H professionals teach youth K-12 in coding and creativity using the technology provided by Apple. According to the U.S. Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the computer and information technology field is expected to grow faster than the average growth rate of all occupations. Ohio 4-H is preparing youth for future career opportunities through Clovers CODE.
