Marissa works to enhance our internal communication and external marketing efforts with and on behalf of our nearly 800 OSU Extension employees throughout the state. She provides marketing and administrative support directly related to communication plans, materials, and activities for Extension at the state, county, and other unit level. This includes communicating and demonstrating best practices for branding and marketing, creating and updating internal documents and public-facing materials, and managing social media.
Marissa previously served as a county educator, agriculture and natural resources; and as a communication coordinator for CFAES, where she implemented a student recruitment marketing campaign and worked closely with leadership, staff, faculty, and students on numerous creative projects for the college. She has most recently focused on graphic design, social media management, and brand building/implementation for several local businesses and her own design company.
Education
Marissa earned a B.A. in English education and an M.S. in agricultural communication from The Ohio State University.
