Specialization/Focus Area
Provides leadership for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating forestry extension education programs and in-service trainings for woodland owners, extension educators, forestry and natural resources professionals, forest industry professionals, students, and the public on sustainable woodland management. 

Plan of Action
To support the outreach and training efforts of the Ohio Interagency Forestry Team by developing curricula and providing educational programs for woodland owners in Ohio. The emphasis is to sustain oak-dominated forests on all lands of the Unglaciated Allegheny Plateau. A DAY in the WOODS and the newly launched Place-based Woodland Owner Outreach effort are two key programs in this effort.
