WPS Federal Rule Changes - Webinar

Webinar on recent rule changes to the federal Worker Protection Standard (WPS) for Ohio State managers of farms, nurseries, and plant production research. WPS protects employees involved in plant production/maintenance and pesticide handlers from pesticide exposure on farms, forests, nurseries, and greenhouses. The rule applies to plant production for research or profit. There have been changes in the frequency and content of training, central posting, and a new recordkeeping requirement was implemented. We will briefly cover the existing rule and highlight recent changes affecting Ohio State plant production facilities.
