2016 Ohio Intensive Soybean Management Workshop

Looking for ways to maximize soybean yield and profit? Attend one of three hands-on workshops open to producers and other agricultural professionals.
The workshop is occurring at three locations:
- Feb 9 – Clinton County Extension Community Room, Wilmington
- Feb 24 – Evolution Ag, Plain City
- Feb 25 – Auglaize County Administration Building, Wapakoneta
Topics and speakers include:
- Soybean management – row width, seeding rates, and yield components (Dr. Laura Lindsey)
- Soybean fertility – updating the Tri-State fertility recommendations (Steve Culman)
- Soybean insect management – late-season pests and seed treatments (Andy Michel)
- Soybean disease – seed treatments and soybean cyst nematode - managing the unseen (Dr. Anne Dorrance)
- Local update
The following publications will be provided to all participants:

- 2016 Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois Weed Control Guide
- Corn, Soybean, Wheat, and Alfalfa Field Guide
- Profitable Soybean Disease Management Guide
- Control of Insect Pests of Field Crops
Space is limited for the workshop. Advanced registration is due at least five days before each workshop. Cost is $70 per person; includes lunch.
