National Associations

Several professional associations promote professional and overall Extension organization improvement on a national level. The Ohio JCEP state presidents are liaisons with the national associations; contact them for additional information.

	espnational.org 2021 Ohio Chapter President: Stephen Brady, brady.111@osu.edu Epsilon Sigma Phi (ESP), the national Extension Fraternity, promotes effective working relationships among county, regional, state, and administrative personnel. Membership is by invitation only. Initiates must have completed five years of Extension work. Ohio's chapter is Alpha Eta.
	NAE4HA.COM 2021 Ohio President: Kelly Coble, coble.19@osu.edu  The National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals (NAE4-HYDP) is an internationally recognized, non-profit, non-partisan association of professional youth development educators. NAE4-HYDP is dedicated to promoting, strengthening, enhancing and advocating for the 4-H youth development profession.
	NACAA.COM 2021 Ohio President: Marcus McCartney, mccartney.138@osu.edu The National Association of County Agricultural Agents (NACAA), is an organization of professional extension educators, with a mission to further the professional improvement of its members, communication and cooperation among all extension educators and provide for enhancement of the image of extension and the development of personal growth opportunities for extension professionals.
	NEAFCS.ORG 2021 Ohio President: Cheryl Barber-Spires, spires.53@osu.edu The National Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences(NEAFCS) educates and recognizes Extension professionals who impact the quality of life for individuals, families and communities.
	NACDEP.NET 2021 Ohio President: Gwynn Stewart, stewart.1818@osu.edu The National Association of Community Development Extension Professionals (NACDEP) is an organization dedicated to improving the visibility, coordination, professional status and resource base of community and economic development Extension programs and professionals.
	ANREP.ORG 2021 Ohio President: Ashley Kulhanek, kulhanek.5@osu.edu The Association of Natural Resource Extension Professionals (ANREP) is a national association for Cooperative Extension Service professionals working in environmental education, fisheries, forestry, wood sciences, range, recreation, waste management, water, wildlife, and related disciplines. Members are active and retired CES employees at the county, area, state, or national level.
	NAEPSDP.ORG 2021 Ohio President: Jared Morrison, morrison.332@osu.edu The National Association of Extension Program and Staff Development Professionals (NAEPSDP) provides an organized forum for Extension professionals who are engaged in program and staff development. The NAEPSDP mission is to: improve communication and collaboration; share resources; enhance multi-state efforts; sponsor and promote educational training programs and activities that advance program and staff development practices; and advance the professional status of Extension program and staff development professionals by encouraging continuous improvement.
	TERSSA.ORG 2022 past president (national): Christina Byrd, byrd.2822osu.edu The Extension and Research Support Staff Association is a national organization dedicated to improving the lives and careers of members by providing one voice to improve the development of Extension and Research across Regions through professional recognition, networking with states, administration advocacy and professional and personal improvement.
