This handbook is a compilation of policies and procedures for the Ohio State University Extension. It contains both administrative policy statements and links to reference documents from other units within OSU Extension and The Ohio State University. While not all inclusive, all employees are encouraged to become familiar with the contents of publications relevant to their employment and responsibilities.
Policies are updated or added following review by the Extension Administrative Cabinet. The director retains the sole authority to add OSU Extension policies or delete OSU Extension policies. Extension policies and procedures operate in concert with Ohio State University policies and procedures.
Questions regarding interpretation of administrative policy should be addressed to the director or his designee. The Extension Business Office and Extension Human Resources maintain and update procedures and policies on behalf of the director and can respond to questions in their respective areas of responsibility.
