‘Great New Sustainable Plants for the Landscape’: Friday (2/25) at OSU

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Steve Foltz, horticulture director at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, will present “Great New Sustainable Plants for the Landscape” Friday (2/25) at Ohio State University.

An ornamental horticulture graduate of the University of Kentucky, Foltz oversees one of southern Ohio’s largest plant collections -- some 3,000 varieties of trees, shrubs, tropical plants, grasses, bulbs, perennials and annuals.

He currently teaches ornamental plant classes at both the University of Cincinnati and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

His talk is part of a free winter seminar series by Ohio State’s Department of Horticulture and Crop Science.

Attend from 11 a.m.-noon in 244 Kottman Hall, 2021 Coffey Rd., on Ohio State’s Columbus campus or in 121 Fisher Auditorium at the university’s Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), 1680 Madison Ave., in Wooster.
