Stephanie’s Specialties, offering locally produced cookies, crackers, herbal teas, homemade cards, and fresh and dried herbs; and

• the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Biological Engineering at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), selling fresh celery.

The market runs from 3-6 p.m. in the Fisher Auditorium parking lot at OARDC, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. It’s free, outdoors and open to the community.

The market’s regular vendors already include:

OARDC’s Agroecosystems Management Program (AMP) organizes the market to give area farmers an additional sales outlet, to increase people’s access to fresh foods, and to strengthen local food systems in the process.

AMP is an interdisciplinary program that works to discover balance on Ohio farms and in turn create sustainable agricultural systems.

OARDC is the research arm of Ohio State University’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
